The webinar will discuss common gastrointestinal issues that Parkinson's disease patients experience including: constipation, irritable bowel, nausea, bloating, poor appetite, reduced sense of smell or taste, drooling, abdominal pain.

The absorption of PD medications, particularly levodopa, in relation to food will also be tackled. Alternative routes of medicine administration will be discussed for those with problems absorbing their PD medications; these include transdermal, inhalational, sublingual, and injected medications.
